If one is a landlord for multi-unit living complex they will want to do water conservation in multi-family to see where a conservation of water program can be initiated. Programs of this kind are put into place to help reduce water use in multi-family units. . All monthly water bills should be monitored and calculated
. All over calculated monthly bills need to be corrected
. Owners or property managers should do a meter read and compare it to the water department meter reads, and correct estimated or incorrect readings.
As one can see there is much to water monitoring for multifamily units. There are companies that will do all of these steps for the consumer, plus they will install water monitoring equipment.
