Long Island City, NY (prHWY.com) June 11, 2012 - Wolf-Gordon Introduces Wallcoverings that Creatively Interpret Wood

Alpine Inlay, Hayashi Panel and Herringbone Etch convey an "unnatural nature" theme

New York, NY- Wolf-Gordon announces three new patterns for its Haven III catalog:
Alpine Inlay, Hayashi Panel and Herringbone Etch. These type II wallcoverings are designed and colored to offer updated woodgrain looks in medium and large-scale prints. The current design trend towards unnatural depictions of natural motifs played a large part in the development of these patterns, particularly with Herringbone Etch, which features bold, "unnatural" stunning colorways. Alpine Inlay, Hayashi Panel and Herringbone Etch will be on view during HD Expo in the Wolf-Gordon Booth, #2948.

* Alpine Inlay is a new, extremely contemporary coordinate for Wolf-Gordon's all-time favorite pattern, Alpine. We've updated Alpine's color palette and matched the birds eye maple pattern with a strong horizontal inlay effect that stretches across the full 54" width of the product. Each Alpine Inlay colorway is matched to two standard Alpine colorways, so that designers have many options in pairing these items up or using them alone. Alpine Inlay is dramatic in its strong geometry juxtaposed to the natural woodgrain patterns that compose it, and it is particularly suited to corridors and large expanses of wall.

* Hayashi Panel is an airy, translucent gingko leaf pattern scattered about a tonal, birch woodgrain background. Colorways are neutral and herbal, from natural to unnatural! Hayashi Panel is an upbeat, easy to live with pattern that will work in all commercial interiors, including healthcare.

* Herringbone Etch is a bold herringbone grained wood look available in strong, unnatural shades, including persimmon, bright pink, aqua blue, purple and black & white. The grain of Herringbone Etch resembles a weathered driftwood with strong elements of contrast. This large-scale pattern will provide a dramatic backdrop for many types of commercial interiors, from hospitality and spa, to progressive office.

All items are type II, low VOC emitting wallcoverings, and are Class A rated for fire safety.
