Devotees of Nirmal Baba take authors of frivolous complaints to courts for tarnishing image of their guru

Enraged by the frivolous campaign to malign his image, devotees of Nirmal Baba have decided to take the complaints to court.

delhi, India (prHWY.com) June 18, 2012 - In one such instance disciples of Nirmal Baba have filed criminal complaint against Amitabh Thakur, Dr. Nutan Thakur wife of Amitabh Thakur, Aditya Thakur son of Amitabh Thakur and Tanaya Thakur, daughter of Amitabh Thakur, all residents of Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.
The complaint was filed by the devotees in the court of Shri Ashu Kumar Jain, Judicial Magistrate, Gurgaon under section 295A of the Indian Penal Code for deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings or any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs.
Disciples of Nirmal Baba in their complaint have alleged that Tanaya Thakur had got registered one false FIR bearing no. 202/12 under section 417,419, 420 and 508 under Indian Penal Code in P.S Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, with false, concocted and scandalizing allegations. It was also alleged in the complaint that defamatory language and made false allegations have been leveled by accused to gain free publicity and to defame Nirmal Baba.

It is a well known fact that both Amitabh Thakur and Dr. Nutan Thakur have political aspirations. It seems they found an opportunity to come in the limelight by attacking the famous Spiritual Guide Nirmal Baba. Dr. Nutan Thakur, in particular, is known for mis-using judiciary to achieve her political and personal ambitions. She has been filing litigations in courts to project her image as a social activist and in the process causing anxiety and pain to individuals.

Allahabad High Court in one such instance took strong exception to her behavior and slapped a fine of Rs. 1 lakh on her for wasting Court's valuable time. The case pertains to the PIL filed by Dr. Thakur to restrain media from publishing news articles related with Army movement and the decision of the Chairman, Press Council of India, Justice Markandey Katju not to comply with the High Court order. The court observed that the contempt petition filed by Dr. Thakur was not maintainable, frivolous and pre-mature.

Nirmal Baba's devotees have also filed cases against Mrigank Shekhar of Sai Prasad Media Private Limited, Noida, U.P. for insulting Shri Nirmal Baba through its news channel and website. The case is filed in the court of Ms. Radhika Saini, Judge, Raipur, Chattisgarh under section 295(K), 298,504,505 of the Indian Penal Code, wounding the religious feelings, provoking person to break public peace and spreading rumors with intent to cause public dis-harmony.
