Pioneers of Science and Spirituality Share Advances on How "Subtle Energy" Can Impact Medicine, Psychology the Healing Arts

July conference hosted by the California Institute for Human Science offers an in-depth examination of subtle energy science and research and its practical application in everyday life.

Encinitas, CA (prHWY.com) June 22, 2012 - Encinitas, CA, USA, June 22, 2012 -- The California Institute for Human Science (CIHS) is holding its fourth annual Subtle Energy Science Conference, "Subtle Energy Science: Art and Practice of Consciousness and Healing" on July 20-22, 2012 at its campus in Encinitas, San Diego County, California. It will feature lectures, interactive experiential sessions and the most recent research from some of the foremost pioneers in the field of subtle energy science and application, including Dr. William Tiller, Dr. Claude Swanson and Dr. Beverly Rubik.

What is Subtle Energy?
Subtle energy is the universal life force that runs through and between all living beings and "things." For thousands of years, esoteric traditions recognized this energy field that surrounds us as prana, life force, chi and kundalini, to name just a few. In recent years, the research, study and practice of subtle energy studies has influenced science, medicine, psychology, research, and all of the healing arts. In fact, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Emmy Award-winning host of The Dr. Oz Show and Vice Chairman of Surgery and Professor of Surgery at Columbia University said that "the next big frontier in medicine is energy medicine". It's not the mechanistic part of the joints moving. It's not the chemistry of our body.

It's understanding for the first time how energy influences how we feel. 'Coinciding with CIHS' 20th year anniversary, the Subtle Energy Conference will be a confluence of pioneering scientists, teachers, researchers, practitioners, and students of subtle energy and consciousness.
