London, United Kingdom (prHWY.com) June 24, 2012 - Energy Performance Certificates or EPCs are a mandatory requirement for all homes including domestic and commercial market places in UK from October 2008. It is essential by law for every landlord to provide his tenants with an EPC when they move into the property in question. The Energy Performance Certificate always gives the detailed information on how a residential complex can be made more energy efficient and the procedure how to reduce wasted energy and carbon dioxide emission which should be followed by the occupiers. To get an Energy Performance Certificate of a property it is essential to perform an energy assessment survey of that property. The assessment must be undertaken by the accredited Domestic Energy Assessors who will need to supervise both internal and external inspections of the property. There are several things which are included in the inspection like construction of the roof and wall, any cavity wall insulation, open and close fireplaces, energy devices such as wind turbines and solar panel, amount of low- energy usage light bulb, measurement of the external and internal areas of the property and so on. Generally the whole process i.e. the inspection will take three working days to complete. After finishing the inspection Energy assessor gives you a Landlord Energy Performance Certificate which is much like the EU label for energy efficient product. After the assessment, your home will be given a rating between A - G, A being the most energy efficient home and respectively G the worst which helps the homeowner to know how costly it is likely to be heat and power, and what carbon dioxide emissions there will be. You will need to provide one if you are selling or letting your home and the certificate is valid for ten years.

Energy Performance Certificates UK is offering their services as a Domestic Energy Assessor for more than 15 years. Normally they take 3 working days to complete the whole service but very often it is earlier if situation demands. Within 24 hours after negotiation of payment they will visit the inspection site and the report will be dispatched within next 24 hours via e-mail. Their all DEAs have the Accreditation ID and Public Liability Insurance.
