Houston Piano Company offers a fun musical experience with their 'Way Cool' summer piano camps

Starting children on a musical instrument early in life has big payoffs academically and socially, and Houston Piano Company's one-week 'Way Cool' piano day camps this summer are a great way for beginners to start their piano experience and for current piano students to keep learning and having fun in a music program that rocks!

At the 'Way Cool' summer piano camp, kids play piano from day one, and they are introduced to original contemporary, rock 'n roll, and pop music. Kids are encouraged to play 'off the page" through chord charts and to experiment with improvisation. By the end of the week, these young pianists have an impressive program to share with their families. Best of all, a week of summer piano camp is a step toward preparing these aspiring musicians for a life-long love of music. And that's definitely 'Way Cool'!

Each 'Way Cool' piano camp runs from Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon, starting June 11 and ending July 27. Camps are organized by age groups, and a week of camp costs $170.
