Alsicare helps to ease the financial strain of college students

A ray of light for students starting health, beauty and agricultural college courses this September. The UK's leading workwear supplier offers a 10% discount and a dedicated education liaison team.

Preston, United Kingdom (prHWY.com) July 1, 2012 - Alsicare, the healthcare work wear division of Alsico, announced today that it is offering discounts on college uniforms right across the Alsicare product range. A spokesman for Alsicare says, "We are trying to ease the financial strain for college students and their parents. With everyone tightening their belt, we think it's right and proper we should do our bit to help".

Alsicare offers a comprehensive range of healthcare workwear including lab and doctors coats, tunics and scrub tops. The company has deliberately set out not to produce a specific range for college students. Rather, it believes students should have access to the same professional quality uniforms the rest of its customers enjoy; but at special prices.

A company spokesman said "the hidden costs of some college courses may take parents by surprise. After all most parents think that by the time their children go to college their days of buying uniforms are behind them".

Aliscare has put its money where its mouth is and has put a discount code in place for students and colleges which it says is valid across its product range. It says any student or college should use the code 'STU10' to get 10% off advertised prices.

The company has also appointed an Education Liaison Officer, Margaret Griffiths. Margaret is on hand to help students, colleges and parents purchase the right uniforms.

Which students are likely to benefit? An Alsicare spokesman says the list is longer than you may think, "A wide range of students need college uniforms. Beauty, medical, veterinary, agricultural, sciences and engineering. If the parents of a large chunk of the student population have to fork out on special clothing why shouldn't they have access to well-priced professional quality uniforms?"

Alsicare also confirms colleges and students can take advantage of the company's embroidery service. Students can have their name embroidered on uniforms or colleges can add their logo.
