Miami, FL (prHWY.com) July 3, 2012 - Dear Media Colleague,

An innovative young Miami woman has decided to make the mass customization fad stick. To the walls, that is.

Monica Delgado, a Miami native with a background in graphic design, marketing, and entrepreneurship, is the creative mind behind Pop Piece, a small company that allows the average Joe to turn his image into a work of iconic pop art that seamlessly integrates onto any wall. The effect is that of a hand-painted custom mural, where the art-owner retains creative control, and transforms rooms for as little as $29 a "pop." (Pun intended.)

There are lots of photo art companies out there that put users' images on canvas, or wall decal websites that create custom quotes, but there's never been a service that does what Pop&Color does. Monica got the idea while at an outdoor café, admiring a piece of Miami's famous mural art on the wall of an adjacent building. She wondered whether there was a company out there that made such an aesthetic accessible to the masses. Extensive research informed her that there wasn't, and Pop&Color was born.

Now it's the most inventive and inexpensive way to transform unremarkable rooms into dens of personalized abstract creations, with the customer as the featured artist. Customers just go to the Pop&Color page, upload their favorite photograph or drawing, and then choose from four sizes and up to 30 colors. In about 3 minutes total you can create a wall decal or artwork that is one of a kind.

Each custom decal is handmade from an indoor matte adhesive vinyl, made specifically to cling to - and peel off of - walls without damaging them. Or they can make their designs more portable by opting to showcase the art in one of Pop&Color's striking shadow box frames. The transparent-backed black or white accents add even more dimension to the eye-tickling custom designs.

The Customer Calls the Shots. Delgado spent a year developing the technology behind the Pop&Color wall decal creator - the PopLab to give customers maximum control with minimum effort. It literally could not be easier to test different color combinations, change the contrast, and even preview the finished product in various sizes on the walls of a "virtual home."

Design Pros Take a Magnifying Glass to the Finished Art. Professional graphic designers pore over customer creations, smoothing lines, removing stray specks, and ensuring each one-of-a-kind artwork is completely flawless before it's created.

Each decal is also hand "weeded." In other words, the transparent, colorless pieces are cut away, leaving only the pigmented parts of your design. (This allows the underlying wall to show through on "blank spots" in the design, creating a much cooler end look.)

Fast Turnaround. Work is created and shipped within five days of the order. Bam!
Stick On. Rock Out. Living rooms, bedrooms, offices, kitchens, and bathrooms all take on a bold modern look in minutes. All customers have to do is stick their decals on the wall, following Pop&Color's simple instructions. One semi-handy person can do it alone. No interior designer necessary.

Pop&Color Helps Save Lives. When customers share pictures of their delivered wall art with the world, they help us make a difference. For every person who posts a Pop&Color wall art on Facebook, we'll donate $1 toward building a clean-water well.
