New York, NY (prHWY.com) July 11, 2012 - In a recent Penny Stock Detectives article, editor Sasha Cekerevac argues that technology stocks that can help manage the distribution of information should continue to be in demand for some time. Cekerevac noted that one of the more interesting technology stocks on the market in this promising area is Innodata Inc.
"Innodata helps clients in content creation, production, and strategies," explains Cekerevac. "In addition, the company also has a division that can conduct advanced data analysis for such industries as medical, financial and health care. This diverse nature of potential clients is quite attractive when researching technology stocks."
On June 25, 2012, Innodata was added to the Russell 3000R Index. It's always a positive when smaller technology stocks get added to an index, as this opens the door to larger institutional investors, comments Cekerevac.
According to the Penny Stock Detectives editor, for the first quarter, ended March 31, 2012, the company had a 71% increase in revenue to $25.1 million, as compared with $14.7 million in the same period the previous year. Net income was $3.4 million for the quarter, up from just $15,000 in the prior year. According to Cekerevac, technical analysis shows there has been consistent buying throughout this year. It's good to have other investors in technology stocks acknowledge their faith in Innodata by putting their money to work, notes the editor. He points out that the technical analysis shows several interesting characteristics. After a strong move, the stock was due for a pullback, and it did indeed pull back.
Cekerevac believes the downside should be limited, however, since the fundamental story continues to improve dramatically. If the revenue growth figures continue to be strong, it will be hard to estimate how far a pullback will happen. Cekerevac suspects there are large institutions following both the fundamental and technical analysis of the company, waiting with their funds to accumulate shares on any weakness.
The Penny Stock Detectives editor would like to see how the earnings results for this quarter come in, and to see if its strong performance can continue with the current global economic weakness.
"Overall though, this is one of the more interesting technology stocks in one of the hottest areas of technology: managing information," says Cekerevac. "With strong revenue growth figures and momentum when examined with technical analysis, this stock will be on many investors' watch lists."
