New York Rock Academy Offers a Replacement for DayJams Students in Westchester NY
With the recent closing of DayJams, New York Rock Academy welcomes Westchester rock students of any skill level. Our dedicated staff of talented musicians will assist any DayJams student in their transition to our 2012 Rock Camp in Westchester NY.

Former DayJams students will form groups alongside those of similar experience and immediately begin making music. Beginners will find themselves performing complete arrangements of their favorite songs by the end of a single session. Advanced players will have the opportunity to fine tune their skills - learning subtle and not-so-subtle lessons about instrumental or vocal technique and the organization of a rock ensemble.
The motivating force at New York Rock Academy is excitement. Regardless of level, students will be encouraged to explore the music that they truly love. The experienced faculty will help to break down the imaginary barrier between the students and the 'stars', giving concrete advice on how to effectively play and interpret rock songs. Anything that stands in the way of a moving performance will be addressed and remedied to allow the students to communicate the love and excitement that they feel to an audience.
