The 40 year old woman entrepreneur was featured in India Today's June 2012 edition, which talked about top Indian women capitalists and what according to them real beauty is. Whether it is inhaling the fragrance of Mogra, listening to nirguni bhajans or the gradual transformation of a caterpillar to a butterfly, beauty means to be alive. Moreover, Rashmi believes in natural beauty and so stays away from artificial make ups. She only uses natural aloe vera gel for her skin. Sawant's firm, Culture Aangan offers travelers the opportunity to come face to face with the rural Indian countryside. An arts graduate and with a diploma in travel and tourism, Rashmi Sawant started her career in with her philanthropic project, Culture Aangan in 2005.
