The only information you are asked to provide is the name of your current supplier, your meter number (Meter Point Reference Number for gas; Meter Point Administration Number or S Number for electricity) and your energy consumption (in kilowatt hours or billing amount, as an annual, quarterly or monthly figure). The business energy suppliers and tariffs available to you for comparison and switching are then displayed.

There is also a filtering system available so that you can indicate those factors (such as price, contract length, 'green' credentials and accurate billing) that are of most interest to you.
