Take a minute - close your eyes and think about it. Ponder it long enough and I believe you will come to the same conclusion.

When I say life is simple, here is what I am truly getting at...

Life is simple when it is driven by these 3 undeniable values:

1. Choice- the moment that you realize that all things are precipitated by choice, possibilities become endless. The word can'tcease to exist in your world and you consistently see the light in every situation. Surely, you may have down days; however, for the most part, you are the quintessential optimist.

2. Purpose- a life of purpose is a life worth living. Once you understand that you have something unique - that we all do - to offer the world, you begin to understand your purpose. Furthermore, when to make choices that leads you to live true to your purpose, you essentially lead a purpose-driven life. Nothing is more fulfilling than knowing that what you do has value and that you are here for a reason.

3. Others- life is simple when we serve others. When we make choices that lead us to fulfill our true purpose and that purpose creates and distributes value to others, we truly are living a full life, a simple life - a good life. You cannot leave behind a great legacy in this world if no one other that you were better off for you having been in it.

When these 3 values are grounded in and directed by correct principles - when you abide by natural laws - life is simply GOOD!

What stops us?

EVERYTHING! When our choices and actions are not driven by our core values - mainly the 3 above - and grounded in correct principle, life instantly becomes complicated.

I challenge you to think of any situation where you made choices that were out of line with your core values and did not abide by natural laws and I guarantee that you will find some form of complication.

Life will never be simple as long as we are misaligned. Negativity spreads most feverishly when we are out of alignment. It breeds frustration, fear, anger, hate and jealously among many other pessimistic emotions.

Since these are all emotions we have the ability to not only exhibit but also control, it is accurate to say that the only thing that stops us from living the good life is us. YOU are the one stopping YOU.

If you find it hard to believe this simple truth, the good life will most assuredly continue to escape you.

We are all born with everything we need to live an abundant life - we are in fact all meant to do so. It does not matter where you are from or how you were raised - YOU have the ability to choose your own path. Life is what you make it and not the other way around.

You are the one robbing yourself of the treasures in your life. The moment you realize and believe this simple truth, you will experience an immediate, profound and positive shift in your life.
