Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) July 26, 2012 - Business bankruptcy is no laughing matter. It is estimated that almost 40% of all businesses that are started within the year will file for bankruptcy within six months of opening. While there are many programs, seminars and lectures business owners can attend to learn about the dangers of bankruptcy, nothing really seems to help, which is why Fun & Games, Inc. is stepping in.

Fun & Games, Inc. is a small sized board game developer that has decided to branch out into the bankruptcy arena. This board game developer has taken the time to create a board game revolving around the work of business bankruptcy.

"This game is very similar to Monopoly", explained game developer Janet Vegas. "Only it really isn't. The whole focus of the game is to teach businesses how to make financially sound decisions and help expand their businesses to new heights. All while having fun and playing a game."

Fun & Games, Inc. decided to branch out into this educational game aspect after a family member of one of the developers was facing a similar problem. They had made an off-handed comment that none of the lectures and classes really taught them what they needed to know.

"We realized there could be a market for this type of game", said Vegas. "We thought maybe the idea of business bankruptcy would sink in better if people were having fun while learning. I mean you're never too old to have fun, and that's what this game allows business owners to do."

The game is designed for 2 to 5 players. Each player takes a token and moves it around a winding maze of paths. The paths have various business decisions the owners need to make for their fictional business. These decisions can result in the business earning or losing money, just like real life.

"Our goal is really to educate business owners while having fun doing it", said Vegas. "We really hope that the game will cause owners to take a moment to really think about business bankruptcy and go 'this could really happen to me'."

The game, which has yet to be titled, is currently working with a nationwide business conference that focuses on startup businesses. The conference hopes to offer the game as part of their nationwide conference that can attract up to 500,000 new business owners.

"We are teaming up with a nationwide business conference in hopes of getting out game out there", said Vegas. "The conference has offered to host a room filled with our board games, in an effort to educate people on business bankruptcy."
