Superheroes Venture into Different Helpful Avenue

Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) July 26, 2012 - There are a number of different home health care agencies across the country. These agencies often perform a wide range of services for their clients. In most cases, the goals of these services are aimed at keeping the clients out of the hospital and in their own homes. Not all agencies that provide this type of care are the same, however.

"I knew my father needed more care than I could give him once he returned home. But I also knew he would be much happier if I used a home health care agency that gave him a bit of a different experience than what he was expecting," mused John Hunt about his father, Norman Hunt, of Sicily, New York.

John began scouring the listings of home health care agencies that were local to where his father lives. It didn't take him very long to find exactly what he was looking for.

"My father has been an avid comic book collector since he was a small boy", continues John. "I found an agency that will send someone out to provide care for him dressed as his favorite super hero. The look on my father's face when he saw Superman get out of the car and come to his front door was priceless!"

Because Norman Hunt needs care that is specialized, the same aide typically cares for him. This continuity has allowed the two men to build a bond that has been made stronger by a mutual love of all that is devoted to superheroes and comics in this world. Josh, the home health care aide for Norman, has worn a number of different superhero costumes from his collection to Norman's home for his shift.

Josh notes, "I really enjoy embracing the whole superhero culture as a hobby. When the call came in that someone was looking for an aide who would dress up as a superhero, I jumped at the chance. After all, in which other job would you be paid to do something you love while being your favorite superhero?"

Though Josh has a large selection of costumes from the classic superheroes, he is working on getting some of the newer ones to add to his collection as well. He is currently working on getting the costume just right for Wolverine. In addition, he and Norman enjoy talking about their favorite superheroes as well as watching their favorite movies about superheroes.
