Sujai Hajela, vice president and general manager of the wireless networking business unit at Cisco provide surety that the module allows customers to choose option whether they want to upgrade to 802.11n or go with 802.11ac. So people can invest in 11n and then next year easily upgrades it to 11ac with a new radio.
