Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) July 27, 2012 - Large balloons are often used by car dealerships and businesses to attract attention to potential customers who pass by, but new Seattle based SEO company is taking the idea of a tethered balloon to a whole new level. Reach New Heights, an SEO company based out of downtown Seattle uses balloons as a way to represent how well their clients are doing when it comes to search engine ranks.

"Our clients often ask us how they are doing when it comes to their search engine ranking", explained Joe Smith, founder of Reach New Heights. "It is often hard to show them the results of our work through graphs and charts, so we thought we'd start to use balloons as a way to represent how they rank."

Each client gets a tethered balloon that represents their company. The balloon starts off at a certain level to represent the client's blog or website's ranking. Each week Reach New Heights will conduct research to see how the blog or website ranks and move the balloon up or down accordingly.

"This is really being done as a creative way to bring clients into our business", explained Smith. "We wanted to stand out from the rest of the competition and thought this was a great way to do it."

In order to comply with city regulations, Reach New Heights has to apply for a permit to fly the balloons within the city limits. Each permit costs approximately $50 and allows the company to fly the balloons 24/7 for 4 months.

"We were unaware of the permit situation at first", said Smith. "Now that it is all solved we can freely fly the balloons. The cost of the permit is something we as a company incur and don't charge the client. It's just the way the business goes."

Reach New Heights currently has seven clients, each has their own balloon. The balloons can be seen right off of I-5 and have brought in numerous customers to Reach New Heights.

"I was driving down I-5 and noticed a group of balloons in the area", said local businessman Todd Griggs. "I noticed it has SEO on the side and thought I'd take a look at what it was all about. That was when I got in contact with Reach New Heights."

Reach New Heights plans on using the balloons for at least the next six months. After six months, the company will reassess their clientele and see if they wish to continue this type of program.
