Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) July 30, 2012 - Seattle,WA, 7-2-12 - Seattle Deposition Reporters, LLC proudly announces our merger with longtime Seattle court reporting firm Mills &Lessard! Mills &Lessard has been a strong presence in the Northwest court reporting world for 34 years. We have been friendly competitors since their inception due to our common roots. Michael Mills and Pat Lessard decided to break off and start their own business when their former office refused to get on the technology train. Pat and Mike were the first in Seattle to embrace computer technology, and it is because of them that court reporters quickly embraced some form of technology or faced elimination due to failure to keep up with the ever-changing tools that today's court reporter has at hand.

Pat and Mike ran a very competitive business for decades as business and life partners. Mike's untimely death from cancer on February 17, 2004 was an enormous blow to all who knew him. He was a tenacious court reporter, loved his Harley, and lived life to the fullest. Pat continued to run the business she had shared with Mike for many years, but ultimately decided to move away from the administrative side of the business and make a full-fledged return to the job she loves best, a full-time court reporter engaging with clients. Seattle Deposition Reporters was honored to say yes when Pat called and proposed a merger. A mere four months later, all systems are go for a successful merger between two entities with a common interest: the highest quality court reporting and exceptional service to our clients.

Our hope is that this merger will be seamless and will not affect our clients in any way except for adding more highly experienced court reporters and administrative staff to serve your needs. You will still be able to dial into Mills &Lessard's phone and fax numbers, email and webpage, which will then be forwarded to Seattle Deposition Reporters for administrative purposes, but you can count on the fact that the former Mills &Lessard court reporters will continue to serve your deposition needs in the same prompt, courteous and professional manner that you have come to expect.

The firm of Seattle Deposition Reporters is, of course, thrilled and excited to have the opportunity to work with these top-notch court reporters.
