Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) July 31, 2012 - Buying a used car can be an adventure for almost anyone. There is often a palpable sense of excitement and festivity in the air. There are so many things that must be kept in mind when deciding which car is right for a particular person. This is especially true for those aliens who are looking for reliable and affordable transportation while they stay on Earth.

Austin Ketchum, a salesman with Alien Auto Sales, has gained a reputation as the go-to person when an alien wants to buy a used car. He has learned to handle these clients with kid gloves in order to satisfy their needs. This has helped him to get recommendations from other aliens as well as repeat business.

"A lot of these aliens aren't really what you would call the talkative type. I have to take the time to really tease what they want in a car out of them, step by step. Of course, there are also the practical considerations aliens have to think about when they are buying a used car, like only having one finger on each hand," explains Mr. Ketchum.

Due to the single digit on their hand, aliens seem to prefer the newer models of used cars that usually offer push buttons controls, according to the observations of Mr. Ketchum. Though he isn't really sure exactly why the aliens prefer these push buttons controls, Mr. Ketchum suspects it is because knobs and sliders can be tricky for those aliens that have only a single digit to use when they need to change the radio station or adjust the air conditioner. These adjustments can be a bit of a rude awakening for many of the aliens.

"From what I understand, our technology here on Earth is really primitive when compared to that on the Great Alienate, the home planet of the aliens that come to buy cars from me. All the vehicles are voice activated where these aliens are from. Having to use one finger-like digit to control an entire used car has been a source of frustration for many aliens that come to see me," Mr. Ketchum shared.

Mr. Ketchum tries to point the aliens toward those cars that are compact. Because these aliens tend to be short, as well as digitally challenged, he has found these smaller cars work better for their needs than the larger cars. His strategy must be working because the aliens flock to him when they need to buy a car.
