Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) August 1, 2012 - Drug Rehab Center: Not Necessarily a Bad Place To Meet Friends

With all the tension associated with even the concept of a drug rehab center, it's no wonder that people get all uptight even thinking about it. A recent study conducted by a middle school class in Hawaii suggests that maybe the world as a whole should get off of its high horse and start thinking of the positives that can be associated with recovery as well.

"I don't see why adults think that it's such a bad thing to go to a drug rehab center," explains child prodigy William Hollis. "When you're in a situation where things certainly can't get any worse, why would you want to pretend that being there wasn't one of the best times of your life?"

William was the head of his particular study group, and he said he had a personal reason to begin looking into the positive aspects of drug rehab center culture.

"That's where my parents met," the driven youth continued. "Without the idea in my mind of it being a happy place," he asked, "then what would that mean that I am? If you look at my birth date in retrospect, I was conceived there as well!"

With his passion all focused on this narrow topic, William had managed to sway his entire class to believe in his thought-process as well, as soon the other kids in the class were wistfully wishing that their parents had somehow met in a drug rehab center as well.

"I guess he's just lucky," said Lucy Darlington, one of William's classmates. "It's like a fairytale romance the way that he explains it all. He says that rehab centers have been given a bad name by people who can't make it through, rather than getting a good name from the people who do succeed."

William's teacher at school, Mr. Brady, said that he was a little concerned that the topic may have been a little too harsh for the young man when he began his study, but his fears were quickly allayed after William set him up on a few dates with some of the women who were currently in the rehab program.

"We connected instantly," said Mr. Brady, referring to the woman that William set him up with. "People who are recovering from drug addiction are just like the rest of us, just maybe a little bit more confused at times."
