Supernatural Experience Happens at Sight of Mysterious Lady's Disappearance

Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) August 2, 2012 - The concept of using ghost tours as a way to attract tourists into a specific location is nothing new. Places all over the world have been offering guided ghost tours to vacationers in an effort to encourage them to have firsthand experiences with the paranormal, but most of the time those firsthand experiences don't happen - until now. A small group tour on the Galapagos Islands had the first ever documented experience with ghosts and paranormal activities.

"We were just taking a leisure stroll along the islands, listening to the tour guide when it happened", explained Kathy Mae. "The tour guide was talking about some lady who was on vacation and murdered by her new husband when it happened."

The group was standing near a landmark site that is reportedly the location of several mysterious disappearances. While the group was observing the area all electronic devices turned off, a breeze came out of nowhere, and it sounded like voices were talking.

"It was so creepy", said Thomas Willington. "I've seen horror movies and this was way worse. You could just tell there was something supernatural trying to communicate with us. It was creepy, yet amazing at the time."

The company that operates the tour hired a team of paranormal investigators to see if the source of the disturbance was real or not. Many times supposed paranormal activities can be explained by other scientific reasons.

"We wanted to check to make sure there was really paranormal activity going on in the area", explained Perry Wilson, owner of Fright in the Night Galapagos Tours. "We don't want to go around claiming paranormal activity if there really isn't any. So we called in the experts."

The paranormal investigators ran several tests to determine if the disturbances could be traced back to other reasons. They checked for solar flares, radio waves, and even an occasional breeze that came off the water. None of these items occurred.

"We ran several tests to determine what could have caused the disturbance and nothing came up", said Tammy Sullivan, paranormal investigator. "The only test that had high results was the one for electrons in the area. This is usually a sign that there is a ghost or supernatural creature in the area."

Fright in the Night Tours has experienced a 20% in customers since the story of the unknown supernatural creature has spread across the island.

"People are interested in seeing the supernatural for themselves", said Wilson. "This is a great way for them to have hands-on experience with the supernatural while experiencing a relaxing vacation."
