Tributary Systems, Inc. is releasing Storage Director 4.0 with enhanced connectivity and security features at the SHARE IBM mainframe (z/OS) user's group EXPO Aug 6.

Ocala, FL (prHWY.com) August 6, 2012 - Bedford, TX, August 06, 2012 -- Tributary Systems, Inc. is releasing Storage Director 4.0 with enhanced connectivity and security features at SHARE this week. Tributary is an IBM OEM, Solutions Integrator and z Development Partner.

Version 4.0 of Storage Director ® -- a cross-platform, enterprise-strength VTL solution (virtual tape library) -- enables 8Gbps Fibre Channel connectivity and adds support for the NPIV facility that allows multiple virtual devices to utilize a single physical port.

Among new security features, Storage Director 4.0 adds several levels and methods of password security to better protect stored data.

Tributary Systems is discussing Storage Director 4.0 and its unified backup capabilities in Booth 224 at the SHARE IBM Mainframe User Group Expo in Anaheim through August 8th.
