New Delhi, India (prHWY.com) August 6, 2012 - Akron, Ohio, U.S.A.: Keegan Bradley never looked like a winner for the past four days. Not at least till the time he poured in a 15 foot par putt on the final hole Sunday. Earlier he had scored 71 holes at Firestone. No one was surprised given the way golf had gone this year. Jim Furyk finished off wire to wire win at the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational@( http://4moles.com/cmstournaments/show/211-wgc-bridgestone-invitational ) not till the time he made double bogey from the middle of the 18th fairway. Two weeks before Adam Scott gave up a four shot lead with four shots to play in the British Open.

Furyk immediately dropped his putter and bent over. He showed emotions of shock and disgust. He said that he led the tournament the entire way and lost it on the very last hole. He was very disappointed with the way tournament ended. He said that the he led the golf tournament@( http://4moles.com/contents/show/1109 ) the entire way and lost it on the very last hole. He said that Golf was a cruel game to him. He has lost several tournaments in a poor fashion but he had never thought that he would ever let one slip as badly as this one. He said that it was his worst effort to finish off any event.

Bradley gave a sterling performance who shot 31 on the back and came up with clutch putt one after another. He gave a big final stroke of his 6-under 64. He said that it did not occur to him even for a second that he would miss it. He could not believe his shot. He knew that he just had to hit it hard enough and it was dead center.

Furyk played the 18th and got a huge break when his tee shot bounced off the trees to the left and back into the fairway. He led by one shot. His 7-iron went long and the delicate chip barely cleared the bunker and settled into more thick grass. He said that he hoped for a birdie when he stood on the 18th tee. But he exclaimed that by standing there, you just do not know what is going to happen.

Furyk was devastated by the ending in several ways. He blamed himself for his performance. He said that it is an empty feeling when the things go wrong. He said that his boy was crying after the round and he said that is reminded him as an adult that he should have acted in a proper way. He said that is important to say and act in a proper way to try to give the right lessons.
