Dr Alec Charles Talks About Research Design For Trade
Dr Alec Charles is Lecturer in Media Sub-Dean Quality, and holding the post of Deputy Director Research Institute for Media, Art & Design says "Design, at a basic level, means planning".

Experts explain that "The process data collection, sampling and analysis of the collected facts are to be organized as per the basic of the trade design. The whole study can be done in a systematic manner. So the strategy needs careful planning and preparation."
Talking about Dr Alec Charles experts say he was previously taught at universities in Estonia, Japan and Cornwall. He has made documentaries for BBC Radio 3, has worked as a print journalist in Eastern Europe and has written for British Journalism Review and Tribune.
Dr Alec Charles says "Media research required a comprehensive plan of action. If research can be defined as systematic inquiry into a subject media research can be defined as the process to examine media topic methodically."
He is the editor of Media in the Enlarged Europe (Intellect, 2009) and co-editor of The End of Journalism (Peter Lang, 2011). His recent publications include papers in Science Fiction Studies and Science Fiction Film & Television, as well as chapters in various books on film, television, literature and new media
Talking about a media student he said "Media student faces a wide variety of assignments requiring planning and preparation of the research design. Media research is a modern field of inquiry and is studied in a great variety of allied disciplines. So proper designing is the need for media research."
Adding to the statement he said "In fact, it is the structure within which research is conducted. The design constitutes the blue prints for the collection, measurement and analysis of data. So, the agenda from writing hypothesis to the final analysis of data is research design."

Dr Alec Charles says "sometime we conduct research studies to gain familiarity with a phenomenon or to achieve new insight into it. Sometimes the objective is to formulate more precise research theory or to develop hypothesis." Such studies are known as the experimental types of research to reduce the risk.
