Reif feels that the experience she gained at Sands Brothers was huge in preparing her for her role at Weiss Capital. "Leaving Weiss was a hard move, but I'm just thankful to have gotten to that point. My ability to take the Presidency at Weiss is largely accredited to the skills I developed during my time at Sands Brothers," states Reif.

Nancy Ellen Reif considers her three years at Weiss Capital Group to be one of the most influential periods of her career. "After Weiss, I moved on to Laidlaw & Co., but again, the move wouldn't have been possible without the tremendous growth experiences I underwent as Weiss' President," she says.

Reif sees career transitions as growth experiences. "The next stepping stone is never available if you don't do some personal and professional growing. And that growth process takes hard work."
