Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) August 9, 2012 - There have been many new businesses opened in the downtown area and many with shocking results. None of the results have been as shocking for all business owners as it has been for the owners of a popular, local franchise. The newly invested owners have begun suffering from an affliction that has never before been seen. This franchise opportunity has given them wings.

The downtown area is baffled with the rumors that have been flying around. Local business owners have been debating if their new fellow business owners have wings or not. "I don't believe it. Not for one bit. I have never seen a person with wings on their back. I doubt if I ever will." Ned Langer, owner of the only dry cleaner, says. He has been in business in the area for more than 20 years and knows most of the business owners in this small community.

"I saw it with my own two eyes. This woman came in all excited. We chatted and she told me she just bought into the franchise. She got her coffee and sat down to read her paperwork and then started to scream. I looked up and she had wings. Real live angel wings." Martha Blue, a barista at the local coffee bar, said.
Many of the reports follow the same pattern that Ms. Blue described. Many of these new franchise owners begin to read their paperwork about the franchise and reportedly sprout wings.

In an effort to speak with one of the new franchise owners, we contacted the parent company for information. Although we didn't get a list of all the new business owners directly, we did get this comment from Amy Andrews, PR representative, "There is nothing that we have in our company that makes our owners grow wings. We have more than 50,000 owners across the country and I have never seen anyone with wings." We asked for a copy of the infamous paperwork and were told it contains confidential information so they weren't able to release that information to non-owners.

There haven't been other sightings of those owners after their initial wing growth but it doesn't stop residents of this town from coming into local franchise locations, lingering and trying to get a glimpse of the new owners. Many of the local business owners are reporting that traffic through the downtown area has been heavier than it was in previous months. Even with people coming down to see winged business owners, other shop owners are benefitting as well. Flower shop owner, Betty Wash, said it best, "They may be looking for winged people but they aren't hesitating to set their money free. Business is booming and I don't care why, I am enjoying it while it lasts."
