Hit Reality Show Decides to Pit Individuals of Similar Background Against Each Other
Each season the hit TV show "The Apprentice" has taken individuals from all different types of backgrounds and put them against each other in an effort to win the grand prize - a coveted spot on Donald Trump's executive team.

"This year the producers have decided to pit individuals who all have similar backgrounds, education and training against each other", explained a source close to the executive producer. "In years past there is always an individual who has an MBA in something or 40 years of world experience and there is just no way the field is an even playing field. This year the field will be even."
TV producers for the hit show have taken to the Internet and decided to find charismatic individuals who are studying at some of the top online universities. These people are all studying at some of the top online business schools and working their way to earn a BA or MBA in some area of business.
"It is really refreshing to see such young talent that is out there", said the anonymous source. "We are interviewing some very talented individuals and even if they aren't picked for the show I'm sure I'll be seeing them in the business sector at some point in time."
Students who are interested in applying for the show are asked to submit videos and a written essay explaining why they want to work with Donald Trump. Producers of the show pick individuals from these entries and conduct a second interview.
"Our goal is to get a group of 50 to 100 individuals that really make a great show", explained the anonymous source. "We will then narrow down our selection to about 25 to 30 individuals and those will be the ones that go onto the final show."
This is the first time this hit reality TV show has decided to pick individuals with similar educational backgrounds against each other. In recent years, there has been an all-star cast and celebrity casts but nothing that really dealt with educational backgrounds.
A call to Donald Trump's reps and those of the executive producers and network went unanswered. However, the anonymous source shed a little light on how close this type of show is to becoming a reality.
"The producers have approached at least 20 individuals regarding a final spot on the show", said the source. "It's only a matter of months before it starts to film. It's an exciting time for reality TV."
