New Online School Looks to Help Solve Government's Debt Issues
While there are numerous critics, politicians and average everyday Joes that claim to know how to help solve the government's debt problem, one online accounting school is taking measures into their own hands.

Future Accountants of Tomorrow has started an online program that is dedicated to teaching prospective accounting students how to handle a budget on such a large scale. These students go through over 40 hours a week of courses and spend three years gaining in-classroom experience and one year in in-field experience.
"Our program is dedicated to helping solve the government's budget issues not add to them", said founder of Future Accountants of Tomorrow, Joe Henderson. "The problem that I am seeing is that accountants only gain hands-on experience with small budgetary problems. When they are called on to help the government's budget they just don't have the experience to handle it."
The first year of the program is structured in a similar way to other accounting schools, but the real difference lies in the second, third and fourth year curriculums. Starting in the second year, students are required to use a specialized software program that presents them with certain budgetary situations on a large scale. Students are required to figure out how to handle the situation as if it were happening in real life.
"We worked years to develop this software program that would allow our students to have hands-on experience with a large-scale budget", said Henderson. "We finally fine-tuned it last year and decided to launch our school this year. We've had an extreme number of students express interest in taking part in our program."
The demand for accountants is expected to grow within the coming years as the economy continues to remain unsteady. Accountants that have experience handling large-scale accounts on either the government or corporate scale will be in even higher demand. Future Accountants of Tomorrow is planning on providing the economy with the students who can handle such tasks.
"I have always had an interest in becoming an accountant", said first year student Stephen Greggs. "When I heard about this new program I jumped at the opportunity because I think it'd be really cool to work on such a large-scale budget. I've been going here for a year and its absolutely amazing."
