Landra V. Phillips' "Am I My Brother's Keeper?" The Stage Play
Brings Attention to the High Incarceration Rates Among Men of Color

"As black men in this society have one of the highest incarceration rates, I realized that I wanted to write a play that dealt with these issues. What's more, as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Inc. I knew that I must get involved and make a difference through the performing arts. Right now we are hard at work on the logistics and we have assembled a great cast. I am eager to share this unique script with audiences that I believe will have a lasting impact on them long after they leave the theater," stated Six Feet High Productions founder Phillips.
Landra V. Phillips' "Am I My Brother's Keeper?" stars Dennis Kellum of the award winning Sundance film "Don't Let Me Drown" and the R&B group Live In Eternity, Rabon Hutcherson II of the acclaimed soap web series "Anacostia" and Tremayne Norris of HBO's "VEEP", Channing B. Nash, Demaria Anissa and Landra V. Phillips. Woven into an unforgettable story, Landra V. Phillips' "Am I My Brother's Keeper?" is a stage play that offers a deep thought provoking message to the audience about the choices we all make in life.
