My Trendy Place to Host a Surprise Makeover Party for Two Deserving Child with Alopecia

My Trendy Place is hosting a Surprise Makeover Party on August 11, 2012 in honor of two particular girls who suffer from Alopecia. This event will help make their return to school one they can feel excited and confident about.

Houston, TX (prHWY.com) August 10, 2012 - My Trendy Place is an established Houston business that has been touched by these two young girls. They are seeking donations from the public and other businesses to help make this event a success. My Trendy Place understands the struggle that both of these girls have faced on a daily basis. Their primary goal in hosting this event is to provide the girls with a reason to look forward to the upcoming school year.

Here is an excerpt of a letter that one of the girls has sent to My Trendy Place:
"Dear Ms. Lisa, Alopecia Areata is a chronic illness in your nervous system, which makes all your hair completely fall off. Yes that means everything, no eyebrows, no lashes, not even the unwanted hair like under arm hair or on my legs. Sometimes I feel like an average girl: Melissa Reyna ,12 yrs. old ,going to Hartman Middle School ,but then I wake up and I look in the mirror and I'm not have no hair. This started long ago when I was like 5 yrs. old my mom started noticing bald spots, so we went to the doctor. They told my mom that it was just the beginning, and it was."

Alopecia is a disease that many adults have a hard time dealing with; join My Trendy Place to help ease the struggles that these two young girls face every day. My Trendy Place is asking the public to help make these girls feel beautiful and look forward to returning to school. The event will be held on Saturday August 11, 2012 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
