Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) August 13, 2012 - All the talk of the landing on Mars has led many people to speculate in regards to whether or not there could be a need for students to start taking courses in intergalactic criminal justice. Individuals are under the impression that if there is life on other planets intergalactic criminal justice classes will be needed to maintain order.

"We are getting a few calls in regards to how we prepare our students in intergalactic criminal justice", said founder of Online University for the People, Jenny Hogan. "I didn't know what they were talking about at first, but then I realized that these people believe if there is life on Mars or some other planet there will be a demand for criminal justice majors who can keep the peace."

The phone calls to the school started coming in when an online user posted that the majority of criminal justice majors were not prepared to handle intergalactic problems. They were only trained to handle problems on Earth.

"We train our students to handle all problems that arise", said Hogan. "No, we don't currently offer intergalactic classes, but rest assured that should there be a need for that we will add it to our curriculum immediately."

Jenny Hogan first thought the calls were a prank but soon realized that calls were coming from all over the country. All the callers asked the same questions regarding who will uphold the peace should life on other planets be found.

"I really thought it was a joke", said Hogan. "Until I realized that these people weren't joking."

Jenny Hogan contacted several government agencies in the hopes that they could work at getting the word out to people in regards to what would happen if life were discovered on other planets. Several agencies stepped up to the plate to help spread the word.

"If we can release a statement regarding the Zombie Apocalypse we can address this situation", said an anonymous government official. "We didn't realize that the Mars landing would cause this type of uproar in the community, but we realize that the public wishes to know that they are protected from out-of- this-world creatures and we will do our best to help them know they are protected."

Government agencies plan on hosting several radio, TV and online ads discussing how the world is projected should life be found on other planets. It is believed that these announcements could calm the fears of people all over the world.
