Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) August 13, 2012 - Studying can be extremely stressful on the body. Some research has shown that students experience extremely high levels of stress when they are studying to earn a degree or diploma. Healthcare experts suggest that students try a variety of stress reducing techniques in an effort to reduce the strain of the stressful situation and that is just what one group of students studying at an online HVAC school did.

"We were all studying for the upcoming mid-terms", said John Narrows. "We were so stressed out from all the materials we were reading, all the terms we had to learn, and all that. I think we were getting a little crazy and that was when someone suggested we get together and create a massive maze."

The group of students took a break from studying and met over a breakfast at a local restaurant. It was there that they decided to go around to local heating and cooling companies and use recycled or old parts to create a massive maze in the city's local park.

"We thought that we'd create this huge maze that we could just run around and have fun in", said Tommy Under. "We were just doing it for ourselves when one of the members of our group suggested we could make it for the children to use when we were done. We just took that idea and ran."

The group of students got together and approached over 50 local heating and cooling companies that donated used parts for the project. Each part had to be cleaned, had the sharp edges and parts filed down, and shaped to become a part of the maze. This process took approximately three months to complete.

"We wanted to have the maze as a stress reliever and we made a tiny one at first", said Narrows. "We then spent the rest of the time building the bigger children's maze at the park. That took a lot longer."

Upon completion of the project local area art students were asked to come in and paint the existing structure. Art students came and painted pictures that represented the joys of childhood along the sides of the maze.

"We are extremely proud of the students as a whole", said the mayor or the small town community. "We think this is a wonderful addition to the children's playground and look forward to seeing children run through this maze for years to come."
