"I guess it started with me doing the things that typical brides do, planning for the wedding and searching for things that I wanted to incorporate into those moments. I hired an exceptional wedding photographer to capture shots of everyone during the day and then I decided that I wanted to add more details.
When I was working together with my wedding planner, that's when I discovered the wedding umbrellas and knew that I had to have them in my wedding ceremony somehow."

Shana adds, "I was having my wedding outside during the warmth of the summer, so having umbrellas incorporated into the wedding seemed like a natural choice. I found a company that provided them in the color I needed and purchased one for myself and then matching colors for my bridesmaids. When the actual ceremony finally happened, it was amazing. The wedding umbrellas were like the finishing touch and they looked stunning in the pictures that the photographer captured. I have never felt so elegant in my entire life."

What will Shana do with her umbrella now that she's married? "From what I hear, a lot of girls continue to use them on a day to day basis because they are actually functional umbrellas, of course. But for me, I associate my wedding umbrella with all of the beauty and special moments of my wedding day. It's kind of a keepsake for me now, so I have it displayed on the foyer at my home. Those umbrellas really made the entire ceremony even more perfect and unforgettable than I had ever imagined it could be."
