New Reality TV Show To Feature Storage Pods
Guilty pleasure or otherwise, we all know that there are several reality television shows out there that feature people rummaging through old stuff in storage bays that have been abandoned, but one popular TV network is taking it to the next level

Celebrity guests will be driven around areas where there have been storage pod sightings, and then they will be given crowbars, blow torches, hammers and the like so that they can dismantle the exterior and claw their way in to check out whatever goodies they can find.
The first few episodes have already been taped, and feature guest stars that you won't believe that accepted the chance to be on the show until you see it.
"I couldn't pass up the opportunity," says one of the Oscar-winning actors. "I've see storage pods peppering the landscape around where I live for the past several years, and I have always been madly curious about what was inside. This show was the perfect chance for me to literally break into the barriers of my own imagination."
If the show goes well once it airs, the producers will probably expand it in any number of other directions, including having different types of personalities involved, different charities that people can donate to, or even have contestants on the show battle it out in different ways to see who gets access to which pods. All those details are currently up in the air while the producers and directors are gathering the relevant data.
Reality TV shows are some of the most popular on television right now, and "What's in that Pod?!" is expected to be a major success, as it follow the formula for all of the other major shows, while still maintaining at least the illusion of being partially different.
"People like what they are comfortable with," said one show executive, "so we don't want to give anyone more than they can handle. It's kind of like baby steps getting the average viewer to start watching something that they don't already like, so we are going to start at the very beginning with the basics of this one."
