TV project Dr. Life gives a chance to drug users

TV will show treating drug users. The reality TV Dr. Life starts in Internet on 12 September. According to the scenario, eight drug addicts from Russia and other countries outside the former Soviet Union will undergo a complete course of treatment.

Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan (prHWY.com) August 24, 2012 - TV will show treating drug users. The reality TV Dr. Life starts in Internet on 12 September. According to the scenario, eight drug addicts from Russia and other countries outside the former Soviet Union will undergo a complete course of treatment and rehabilitation in front of TV cameras. Nazaraliev Medical Centre, where Professor Nazaraliev's unique method, based on tolerant attitude towards patients, is being used, was chosen as the venue. The project participants will arrive together with their relatives who will give the patients their extensive support. According to the project's authors, usually, patients of addiction clinics carefully conceal their vices, and they are treated confidentially. The participants of the Dr. Life project will appear in front of the world without hiding anything, and the viewers will be able to see all the stages of the treatment of drug addicts.

Prof. Jenishbek Nazaraliev says that the main idea of the reality TV Dr. Life is to change social stereotypes of drug addicts in public mind. According to the official press release, Dr. Life project is to change the current situation at the global context. Each episode will be translated into 7 foreign languages, including English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic etc.
The motto of the show is "We don't promise - we give a chance". It's impossible to make a patient cure, but it's possible to help him, if he strives to be cured, Prof. Nazaraliev, who has cured 16,000 drug addicts in his private clinic named Nazaraliev Medical Centre, believes.
The premiere of the reality TV will be presented in the Internet, then, it is to be TV broadcasted. The period of shooting is to last 35-40 days, which is equal to the standard course of drug treatment.

About 70 surveillance cameras are to be used for shooting the reality TV Dr. life. 10,000 meters of wires and cables are laid. Expensive sound equipment produced by Sennheiser is purchased. 11 wards in Nazaraliev Medical Centre, were the shooting process is to take place, are modernized and reequipped.

Initially, 16 episodes of the project were to appear at www.doctorlife.tv on 28 August. However, due to some technicalities, the date of the premiere was changed. It was caused by the delay of TV equipment delivery. A Chinese company called the Taobuy failed to deliver the ordered equipment to Nazaraliev Medical Centre in time stipulated by the contract. The equipment included 38 surveillance cameras. their total cost is $63,000.

"Accordingly, we had to delay the arrival of the participants and the Moscow TV crew which included 18 people", Denis Potosky, the director of the World League 'Mind Free of Drugs'.
The World League 'Mind Free of Drugs' which pursuits the aim of forming a social matrix of conscious psychological immunity to drugs, presents an educational TV project Dr. Life, within its 50-years long-term program of struggle against drugs.
