Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) August 28, 2012 - A Texas man claims to have discovered a creature only heard of in folklore while traveling in Dallas last week. Ted Hamilton, an entrepreneur who recently suffered from a business bankruptcy, claims that his new mission in life is to prove that the chupacabra is a real creature.

"I was visiting a local park because I wanted to take a long walk with my dog to think about some new business ventures. As I strolled along a path within a forest-like area, I saw something that looked like a reptile with greenish skin. It had a large spine, was around 4 feet tall, and would hop around. It was the most bizarre thing I had ever seen. When I pulled out my phone to snap a picture, it was gone."

Local park ranger Glenn Philips claims that it was most likely the sight of another animal. "These claims have been around since before I was even born. You must keep in mind that we do live in Texas after all. While Mr. Hamilton claims to have seen a scaly creature, it could have been anything. His is the first sighting I have heard about in our area."

Folklore researcher and author Stew Chang claims that Mr. Philips may be correct on this one. "During all my research, I have never seen an actual photo of a chupacabra. All things I have seen have been drawings of what it supposedly looks like. While I am not exactly doubting Mr. Hamilton, I find it quite hard to believe. In Southeast Asisa, a cat-fox hybrid was discovered which was originally thought to be a chupacabra. This may be true in Texas as well."

Despite the doubts of many, Ted says that he wants the world to know that he will not give up until he can fully provide proof. "I know what I saw. I have talked to many other people who claim to see it too. Ask them. They'll tell you."

Because of Mr. Hamilton's claims, we decided to talk to another Dallas local by the name of Clinton Rosenberg. As Mr. Rosenberg says, "I was golfing early one morning at a local course here in Dallas. Right as I was about to tee off, I saw something scampering around near the water. As I walked closer, I saw this scaly creature that was hairless and had both fangs and claws. It growled at me and then hopped away. I ran to my golf cart as fast as possible and alerted management."

While no one knows yet for sure whether or not the chupacabra exists or not, it will be interesting to see whether or not Mr. Hamilton and Mr. Rosenberg claim any more sightings in the near future. If you live in the Dallas area, make sure to keep your eyes peeled and your camera ready.
