Mysterious Falling Object Creates a Stir at Shipping and Receiving Plant

The shipping and receiving department at Comfortable Beds USA is rarely filled with excitement and entertainment, but the events of July 29, 2012 have all the employees at this small, privately owned bed supplier talking.

Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) September 2, 2012 - The shipping and receiving department at Comfortable Beds USA is rarely filled with excitement and entertainment, but the events of July 29, 2012 have all the employees at this small, privately owned bed supplier talking. While two employees were unloading a shipment of memory foam mattress tops when something unusual fell from the sky.

"We were just unloading the memory foam mattress toppers out of the truck when all of a sudden this huge thing fell from the sky", said James Thompson. "Things are usually uneventful around here so when something falls from the sky it causes us all to start talking."

The object that fell from the sky was a three foot cylinder pipe that had a bit of rust around its edges. When the pipe fell on the mattress topper the two individuals carrying it immediately dropped it on the ground and ran for shelter.

"I felt like that person in the story, Chicken Little", said Thompson. "I was yelling 'the sky is falling the sky is falling'. I didn't know what was going on. It wasn't until my supervisor told me it was okay to come out of hiding that I did."

All employees of Comfortable Beds USA gathered around the memory foam mattress topper to see what fell from the sky. The supervisor in charged has already alerted authorities who were on their way to the scene.

"We were unsure what we had on hand", said Thomas Timmons, supervisor for the shipping and receiving department. "I didn't know if we had some alien space craft's piece of equipment or if it was some prank a kid was pulling on us. So I alerted the authorities."

The authorities confiscated the piping and took it back to their lab for testing. They questioned all eye-witnesses to the event and asked them to keep quiet if the media should ask them any questions.

"It has to be some top secret thing", said Thompson. "I mean why wouldn't they want us to talk to the media? There has to be something they are hiding I just know it. Even if it isn't top secret it got us talking and gave us something to gossip about for a little bit."

The local authorities were unavailable for comment when asked about this event. The employees at Comfortable Beds USA were not updated on the situation at hand and were not able to provide any further information regarding the incident.
