MBA Admissions@ SPJIMR, IMI announce admission for 2013-15

After the admission announcements of MDI Gurgaon, XLRI and XISS Ranchi, the admission notifications of SPJIMR Mumbai and IMI Delhi, Bhubaneswar and Kolkata have also been announced on Wednesday

Noida, India (prHWY.com) September 6, 2012 - The admission season for the academic year 2013-15 in top B-schools has already started with a number of these institutes announcing the admission processes for their flagship programmes.

SPJIMR Mumbai and IMI Delhi, Bhubaneswar and Kolkata on Wednesday, September 5, announced their admission processes. Let us have a look at the details of the admission processes. It may be noted that MDI Gurgaon, XLRI and XISS Ranchi have already announced their admission.

SPJIMR Mumbai

SPJIMR Mumbai on Wednesday, September 5, announced the admission for the flagship two-year PGDM programme for the academic year 2013-15. The admission will take place through CAT 2012, XAT 2013 and GMAT scores (2010 onwards). Candidates must have a bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognized university in India or abroad. Final year candidates can also apply.

The application has to be made online. The process starts from Wednesday, September 5. The last date of submitting application forms is November 30. "Thirty-six seats above the sanctioned intake of 240 seats are reserved for persons of Indian origin," the institute said.

IMI Delhi, Bhubaneswar & Kolkata

IMI has announced the admission for PGDM programme in the Delhi, Bhubaneswar and Kolkata campuses and PGDHRM for the Delhi campus.

Application can be made online by visiting the website of IMI. The application fee is Rs 15,00 + Rs 500 per program for each campus. The last date to apply for the IMI Delhi campus is October 9.

Candidates should have 50 per cent or equivalent CGPA marks in graduation from any AIU-approved university. Those graduating in 2013 with results available by September 28, 2013, may also apply.

The admission takes place through CAT and GMAT scores. The academic performance in graduation, Class X & XII is also considered while shortlisting candidates. The final selection will take place through past academic performance, work experience, psychometric test, essay writing, extempore and personal interview.
