Stenfield Boys Looking Forward To Spanish Task.

Stenfield Boys club from Liverpool will be taking two Under 10 teams to Spain to compete against elite Spanish opposition. Within their tour they will be coached by a Spanish coach from a professional club and will take in a live Champions league match along with much more.

The boys club from Liverpool will take a total of 45 people including players, staff and parents to stay in a small village just south of Barcelona called Sitiges. The group will stay for 4 nights 5 days and will include in their itinerary 2 matches per team against elite opposition, a training session with academy coaches from Espanyol, shopping and sightseeing in Barcelona, a stadium tour of the camp nou (home of FC Barcelona) along with a live Champions League match between FC Barcelona and Glasgow Celtic.

All of this has been made possible by Football Tours International (FTI), a tour company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The manager of Stenfield U10s found their website and has worked closely with them to build an itinerary that would suit the players and parent's needs.

FTI have arranged everything from flights, all inclusive accommodation at the 4* accommodation, all ground transfers, 4 friendly matches against elite opposition, training session with Espanyol coaches, private coach for the shopping and sightseeing, entrance to FC Barcelona's stadium tour and the match tickets for the Champions league match.

Speaking on behalf of Steinfield boys club, under 10s manager Patrick said "none of this would have been possible without all the hard work people have put in with the fund raising over the past 12 months, players and parents have gone out of their way to make this trip possible. I would also like to say a big thank you to James at FTI for his efforts, he has made the whole organisational side so easy and has managed to include everything we asked of him to ensure the schedule looks amazing, I'm sure the boys will have a trip they will never forget".

The Stenfield tour is set for the end of October 2012 and will be the first time the Under 10s side have travelled abroad as a squad. We will catch up with them upon their return.
