He spent much of his time as president working hard to further initiatives about heath and help the greater San Diego population better its health by learning about preventative measures that could be taken.

"One of the best things that an individual can do to protect their health is to take preventative steps," Fadi Atiya was recorded as saying. "The good news is that it often doesn't require a lot of time, money, or effort to do so. There are several small adjustments that individuals can make in their lives to ensure that they live longer and healthier. When I worked as President of Greater San Diego Health Education, I made sure to disseminate this information as far as possible."
