Unique Painted Doors in Phoenix Area Used to Reflect Homeowner's Individual Personality

Homeowners have always been able to express themselves through the way their yards are decorated or the color of their home, but a local artist in the Phoenix area has come up with a new and creative way for homeowners to show their personality.

Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) September 26, 2012 - Homeowners have always been able to express themselves through the way their yards are decorated or the color of their home, but a local artist in the Phoenix area has come up with a new and creative way for homeowners to show their personality. Todd Moore has created a business that specializes in offering unique painted doors in Phoenix.

"Homeowners don't realize that they can just spruce up their home with a uniquely painted door", explained Todd Moore. "I work with homeowners to help them create customized doors that really showcase their home and their hobbies or interests."

Todd Moore will meet with the homeowner individually to consult them on what they are looking for in a painted door. This consult will include talking about what colors the door will be painted, what pictures or hobbies the individual wants showcased and any other items.

"Homeowners often don't realize what they want in a painted door", explained Moore. "I sit down with them to help them get their ideas down on paper."
Moore will take the ideas that came about during the consult and put them into a drawing. The drawing is then used to create the custom door. The door is delivered to the home and installed same day.

"This idea really met some resistance at first", said Moore. "I would have one or two people come to me for a painted door. Now it seems like one person does it in a neighborhood and I have my phone ringing off the hook. It is growing in popularity."

Todd Moore has painted a variety of scenes on the doors. Some of the more popular ones include scenes from favorite sports events, movie and TV themes and pictures of the family.

"All the doors are guaranteed to be unique", said Moore. "Even when two families came to me with the same exact requests I made the doors unique. I don't want the same old doors appearing all over the neighborhood. This is about individuality and how I can make people stand out."

The number of Todd Moore painted doors has increased in the past three years. The number of doors went from 20 in total to approximately 400. Each door is unique and made to suit the family that asked for it.

"We love our door", said the Summer family. "It's a great conversation starter and it just really reflects our family the way we wanted it to."
