New York City, NY (prHWY.com) September 29, 2012 - Have you ever wondered about the work and organization that goes into some of the largest charities and foundations? Have you ever given a thought of consideration towards the people involved? Not only are there people who benefit from the nation's various charities and foundations but there are also many people who work to make the foundations a continued success.

Kathy Lamm knows some of the work that goes into keeping a wonderful foundation like the Make-A-Wish Foundation a continuing success year after year. And her knowledge of this comes first hand from her many years working with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Kathy Lamm has been a part of the foundation now for 12 years.

Kathy Lamm first started working with the Make-A-Foundation in 2000. She enjoyed working as a volunteer and helping those in her community and others on a national scale. However, her first notable position with the Make-A-Wish foundation came in 2004.

In 2004, Kathy Lamm became a Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central & Northern Florida Board Member. She has held the position of board member from 2004 to present day. However, while Kathy Lamm has been a board member from 2004 she has also held other positions within the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

In 2005, Kathy Lamm became Chairman of the Board for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Kathy Lamm from her regular job is very familiar with the responsibilities of a management position so her ability to be a board member and chairman is well within her capabilities.

In both 2009 and 2010, Kathy Lamm held the position of Make-A-Wish Foundation Chair of Board Development. She followed that up in 2011, when she was Make-A-Wish Foundation, Wishmaker's Ball Chair. However, Kathy Lamm Chaired the Wishmaker's Ball three times.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation, Wishmaker's Ball holds a great significance for the foundation. The Wishmaker's Ball, like most balls, are a black tie fundraising event. The money raised helps the foundation support the programs necessary to keep the Make-A-Wish Foundation successful. Kathy Lamm knows how important the ball is in order to help the children who rely on the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Kathy Lamm continues to be proud supporter and volunteer of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. For her, supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation is an easy choice because she believes in everything the foundation stands for. Kathy Lamm herself is true believer in supporting those in our community and the Make-A-Wish Foundation holds special place in Kathy Lamm's heart because of her 12 years of volunteer work.
