New Think Pink Lux Website To Support Women Battling Breast Cancer
Luxembourg, 26 September 2012. Think Pink Lux, www.thinkpinklux.com, announced today the launch of a new website that will help it fulfill its mission to provide information, resources and breast cancer support in English for women in Luxembourg.

Think Pink Lux organizing committee member Beth Billig commented, "We've held many fundraising events since we began in 2009, but it was not easy for people in the community to sign up and send donations. It was also a challenge for us to inform the public about what we do. This new website solves these problems." The Think Pink Lux website now allows users to sign up and send donations online. Plus, it features a listing that provides complete details of all upcoming events.
Women and their families will find important breast cancer news, information about local resources and links to the latest updates on diagnostics and treatment. Anne Schol, from the Think Pink Lux committee said, "It is really important for us to get the word out to the community about prevention, treatment and care. We have many dedicated people who give us tremendous support, and the new website will help us attract new breast cancer volunteers."
Dealing with breast cancer is difficult and stressful, so Think Pink Lux wanted their website design to be sensitive, friendly, supportive, positive and easy-to-use. Adina Pasa from Optimize Interactive, the agency that produced the new site, said, "It was important for us to capture the sensitive feel and mood that Think Pink Lux wanted to convey. We also had to be sure the site communicated their messages clearly and made it easy for people to donate."
Think Pink Lux is currently using the website to promote several upcoming events, including Europa Donna's Broschtkriibslaf and the Think Pink Fashion Event. The public can also learn more about the Marian Aldred award that supports breast cancer research in Luxembourg.
