Later on the ViSalus founders also bought in Dr. Mitchel Seidman to help them with the technicalities of producing weight management supplements.

Their primary markets are located in the United States and Canada, with their headquarters (so far) located in Los Angeles. The company is quiet well known for its weight management products, the most popular of which are the Vi-Shape shake and the Vi- Trim Drink mix. Another really popular installation in the weight management series of the company was the Body by Vi challenge. This is a challenge that was quite popular among the masses, for it provided for the challenge participants to win prizes for purchasing these ViSalus products and losing weight as well.

The company has managed to grow a lot since the initiation by the ViSalus founders. The varied economic background of the ViSalus founders has also contributed towards the multi- faceted nature of the company. Till now, ViSalus operated through a network of distributors, who worked individually, but were still a part of the sales force of the entire company. The distributors worked on the basis of the commissions they received from the sales that they made.
