JABARI FEATURED ON "THE NEXT" CO- STARRING HIP HOP ARTIST NELLY

Chicago, IL - August 23, 2012 - Singing Sensation Jabari may be relatively unknown at this point in his career but after he makes his debut on Thursday, September 6, 2012 on the CW's singing competition show "The Next" - all of Chicago will be singing a different tune. This 22-year-old who hails from the South Side was selected to compete against three other hopefuls to represent Chicago on the new show that debuted August 16th on The CW Network.

This past August, Jabari was thrust into the spotlight when the Producers of "The Next" taped his segment at The Vic Theatre. For this humble and very pleasant young man, being apart of this show and on such a large platform was too good to be true.

"I'm still trying to put the pieces together. To have Nelly critique me as an artist is pretty amazing "said Jabari,. "This is a great thing for Jabari! He is such a talented individual with exceptional talent. Jabari will appear on the episode of "The Next "scheduled to air Thursday, September 6th at 8pm central time on The CW. If Jabari is selected to move forward, he will travel to Los Angeles to compete against the remaining semi-finalists from across the country.
