Once upon a time real life couple and Bollywood stars, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have decided to cast aside their personal differences and come together to share screen space for Ayaan Mukherjee's upcoming flick!

Mumbai, India (prHWY.com) March 17, 2011 - Ranbir Kapoor and his ex girlfriend Deepika Padukone have decided to bury the hatchet and work together for Ayaan Mukherjee's next film. Ayaan Mukherjee, who had cast Ranbir Kapoor in his first film, Wake Up Sid was undecided about the female lead in his next venture. This is when Deepika stepped in and called Ayaan several times, requesting him to cast her in the film, to which the film maker finally agreed.

Marred personal relationships often mark the end of professional relationships as well in Bollywood. But this time things seem to be different. It is good to see that the immensely talented actors Deepika and Ranbir have exhibited prudence and maturity and decided to keep their personal and professional issues apart.

If sources are to be believed, Ranbir Kapoor is said to be seeing Bollywood hottie Katrina Kaif while Deepika Padukone did not waste much time either in finding a shoulder to lean on in Siddharth Mallya, son of liquor baron Vijay Mallya after her break up with Ranbir.
