MUSIC WEBSITE SONGEIST.COM LAUNCHES A NEW BLOG SERIES 'CREATIVE INSPIRATION'.

Songeist.com is one of the best website specially made for artist to show their talent in the music community. It is an interactive resource for the entire musicians to prove themselves in the arena.

London, American Samoa (prHWY.com) October 9, 2012 - The idea for the Songeist.com music website came from a desire to foster and encourage creativity as part of a music community. As artists themselves co-founders Josh Childs and Raquel Peralta (a.k.a. State Recall Music) wanted to create a space that would capture the musical spirit of the present time and encompass all different kinds of creative expression, even creating new ways for inspiration to be forged through collaboration and discussion. This is what they believe will really encourage the music community ethos. Songeist is a music community that stands for freedom of expression, freedom in the market, freedom of speech and a fair deal for musicians who still need to be able to earn a living from their efforts. New bands can promote new music and sell music online. It will also be possible to post audio samples and listen to music. It's a whole new world of music distribution! A new generation of new bands can learn how to promote a band, and download music in a save and ethical environment. It will be leagues ahead of other music websites.

In this spirit Songeist.com's resident blogger thought it would be nice to include a little section on the blog called CREATIVE INSPIRATION to their music website where the Songeist.com music community can take different approaches to creativity and put them into discussion, helping us as artists or music lovers to understand what it means for them to have inspiration. How does a good idea come about? Can you get inspiration sitting at a desk? Or is it about an 'AHA!' moment (on a walk or in the shower for example) when something just clicks in your head and a great idea is born. Perhaps it's different for everyone which is why the songeist.com blogger thinks it's interesting and important to explore what it is for us that promotes the circumstances for inspiration to be drawn.


The Songeist blogger was inspired to write this blog post after going to see Robert Weide's new documentary about Woody Allen: "Woody Allen: A Documentary." The film charts the life of the hugely successful comic/actor/writer/film maker from his days as a joke writer through his early comedy films to his success with 'Annie Hall' and 'Manhattan' to his latest releases such as 'Midnight in Paris' and 'Vicky, Christina Barcelona."
In the film, Woody's attitude seems completely unconcerned with the approval of others. He loathes award shows and press conferences, despite being quite able to speak about his work in public, not because he's shy because he sees it to be insincere and unreal.

"I have no apprehension whatsoever. I've been through this so many times. And I found that one way or the other, your life doesn't change at all. Which is sad, in a way. Because the people love your film... nothing great happens. You care, at the time. But they don't. Nobody else cares. They're not interested. They've got their own lives, and their own problems, and their own shadows on their lungs, and their x-rays. And, you know, they've got their own stuff they're dealing with.... So, I'm just never nervous about it.".

The songeist.com blogger hopes that CREATIVE INSPIRATION will be an ongoing feature of the Songeist.com blog. They want to hear others' perspectives on the themes of creativity and inspiration and they invite other bloggers/music lovers/artists to join in the conversation and help them explore further what it means to be creative and what the ideal environment is to make that happen.
