* Cardamom falls around 1% amid volatility due to uncertainty on price decontrol.
* Potato hits 4% upper circuit on short covering at lower levels.
* Turmeric rises close to 1% as demand in the domestic market picks up.
Cardamom witnessed a decline of more than 1% as uncertainty prevails over the issue of auction and farmers seeking a complete decontrol of commodity, raising the possibility of high volatility in near term. Jeera and RM Seed fall marginally on account of adequate supply in the markets. Pepper continues to consolidate ending virtually flat.
