Search for Central Kentucky's Next Singing Star Starts this October at JD Legends
Joining hands with Long Island Records, JD Legends Bar and Grill will Offer Four Gifted Performers a Chance to Live Their Dream
The competition is open for everyone with a knack for singing. However, people under the age of 21 are not allowed to participate. The participants are not required to have a band or play an instrument as it is a karaoke competition.
According to the spokesperson for JD Legend, the basic idea behind the competition is to serve as a launching pad for deserving talent in Central Kentucky while offering pure and live entertainment to the audience. "We are known to serve our customers with purest form of entertainment. However, this competition is more than entertainment. It is about giving someone a chance to follow their dream and get to the place they deserve to be," the spokesperson said.
After eight weeks of performance, four participants will advance to the finals. These finalists will win cash prizes and gift certificates along with an opportunity to perform on the Long Island Records stage. Scheduled for December 9th, the finals will be filmed and aired on local TV.
Sharing further details, the spokesperson revealed that the cash price ranges from $25 to $250 along with as much as a $75 worth of gift certificates. People who are interested in following the competition from the very start can visit the JD Legend bar and grill every Saturday at 10:30 pm. Audience appreciation, according to the spokesperson, will play a major role in determining the winner.
The organizers at Long Island Records showed equal enthusiasm and excitement about the Talent Search competition.
