Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) October 17, 2012 - People living in the northern part of the world might find it hard to believe that there are people out there that have never seen snow, but there are. People who live in California or even Texas have not had the experience of seeing the light, fluffy white stuff known as snow. A recently announced Antarctica cruise is geared just towards people who have never seen snow.

"Not all parts of the world have four seasons", explained Tammy Mae Summers, marketing director for the Snowfall Cruise. "There are some people who only know what warm, hot and slightly cool weather feels like, but they don't know what snow feels like. This cruise is designed just for them."

For people taking part on this cruise it will be their first time experiencing many of the wonders of winter weather. The cruise will take people past glaciers, through snow storms and even past some of the habitats of animals that love the winter weather.

"We have a whole part of the cruise dedicated to polar bears and penguins", said Tammy Mae Summers. "People will get to see these creatures up close and personal in their natural habitat. Yes, people can see them in a zoo, but this is where they live and where they feel right at home."

In addition to the animal exhibits that people will be able to see on the cruise, the cruise participants will also be able to take part in favorite wintertime activities. The cruise ship will stop off in a port where people can engage in skiing, snowboarding, building snowmen and other winter activities.

"Our whole goal is to create a fun, exciting environment that people will be able to really experience the full effects of winter", said Tammy Mae Summers. "Skiing and sledding and all those activities are just part of winter that everyone should be able to experience once in a lifetime."

The wintertime cruise has steadily been filling up. Within minutes of tickets going on sale the cruise was already half sold. The other tickets have been steadily brought over the past two months. In fact, the cruise is so popular they are planning on launching another Antarctica cruise tour within the next year.

"I am so excited to get to finally see snow", said Cindy Marie, an 11 year old who has lived in the heart of Texas her whole life. "I thought I would never get to see it and now I will. I'm so excited."
